AIM
Helen, Paul, Peter, Damien and Janet committed to our Source: Young Artists scheme and spent 9 months focused on professional development, training, development workshops, the silver arts award and have practiced delivering creative workshops for other young people.
On Wednesday 12th and Friday 14th of August 09, the SYA's put their training into practice, running their own arts project, 'AIM - Arts in Motion Manchester' a creative project for students years 7, 8 and 9. This project covered photography, creative writing, drama and dance with a strong carnival theme throughout the 2 days. It was really successful with all the participants having a great time.
Update:
This years Source: Young Artist's project has now been completed with all the Young artists passing their Silver Arts Award. We'd like to say congratulations to Helen, Paul, Peter, Damien, and Janet and that it has been a joy working with you all.
